Name: S.B.
Message: The Sarasota Scene Magazine is one that upholds the class and professionalism that best represents the Sarasota area. I’ve never been disappointed with the engaging and well designed content of the magazine since I started reading a few years back.. The staff is always a pleasure to interact with and they hold just as much, if not more, professionalism and care that is translated through the magazine month-to-month.. I’m honored to be able to showcase this magazine to out of state/city visitors to represent the Sarasota community as a whole. Keep going Sarasota Scene! You’re doing amazing!

Message: I was of a mind that the magazine industry was a dying breed until I came across this publication; not only does it tackle in depth and complex topics but it also provides a much needed lightness and respect for the arts (which i find desperately lacking in this day and age. ) This magazine provides me with such an uplifted and educated view of Sarasota and it makes me proud of my hometown. To be a part of such an artistically-driven and wholesome community is an honor, but to see it published with such honesty and respect shows just how much heart our community has. It has been an absolute pleasure to witness the growth and evolution of this publication throughout the years.

Message: I feel confident advertising with Sarasota Scene because Darcy, their Art Director, maintains open lines of communication and is always helpful.

Message: Of the great literary journals of our time I would say you would have Time Magazine, The New Yorker, and some would argue another lesser magazine. I on the other hand would point to the ever integral and highly acclaimed yet criminally underrated Sarasota Scene Magazine as some of the most important and holy writing of our time.. "Journalism can never be silent: that is its greatest virtue and its greatest fault. It must speak, and speak immediately, while the echoes of wonder, the claims of triumph and the signs of horror are still in the air. ". Henry Anatole Grunwald. among their brave and wildly creative the monolithic design sense of the great Darcy Kelly-Laviollette. A young visionary Standing Atlas-esque amongst the dreary horizon of drudgery and trash that toxicities the rivers of journalistic purity.. I would be honored to continue patronizing such a wonderful publication.
